Responsibilities

  • Design and build durable workflow automations with monitoring, retries, and audit trails.
  • Integrate AI (LLMs, extraction, classification) into production workflows with evaluation harnesses.
  • Own the reliability of what you ship — on-call, runbooks, incident response.
  • Work directly with clients to translate operational pain into shipped systems.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years building production software; meaningful experience with orchestration, integrations, or data pipelines.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals: version control, testing, observability.
  • Comfort with LLMs and AI tooling, and the judgment to know when not to use them.
  • Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
How we hire

Four steps. No gauntlet.

We hire for senior judgment, not stamina. The process is short, transparent, and built to respect your time.

01

Intro call

30 minutes

A short conversation with the hiring lead. We talk through the role, your background, and what you're looking for — no trick questions, no whiteboard.

02

Practical conversation

60–90 minutes

A working session with two people from the team. We discuss a real problem we've solved recently and how you'd approach it. This is where senior judgment shows up.

03

Reference & background

A few days

We ask for a couple of references — people you've shipped with, not people you've managed. We move quickly and keep it lightweight.

04

Offer

Within two weeks

If the fit is right on both sides, we make an offer. We're transparent about compensation, level, and the work you'd start on — before you sign.

What it's like

Senior peers. Hard problems. Calm operating norms.

You'll work directly with partners and principals — the people who scope the engagement and ship the work. There is no junior layer between you and the problem, and no middle-management layer between you and the decision.

We're remote-first, with quiet, well-run operating norms: written-first communication, async by default, synchronous when it matters, and on-call rotations that are taken seriously rather than worn as a badge.

We expect you to push back when something is wrong — technically, commercially, or ethically. The work has to be defensible, and so does the word. That is the job.
